Thakeham Primary School is a warm, nurturing, modern and forward-thinking community. Being small, we know each pupil well. This enables us to successfully support their growth, both academically and in terms of each child’s individual personal development. We take pride in celebrating each child’s successes. Nurturing pupils is something we know we do particularly well. It is what makes us unique!
Would You Like to Visit?
Below are some dates. You are more than welcome to come along to one, a few or all of them! We have organised a mixture of events so that you can get a real feel for our school.
Monday 9th October 3:45pm to 4:30pm 'Stay and Play'
This will be a chance to bring your child along and let them experience our lovely classroom and outdoor area. You will have the opportunity to meet the Class Teachers and the Senior Leadership Team. Please ask as many questions as you need to and make sure to have a bit of fun too! This is a chance to have your child at the centre of your decision-making. We hope they LOVE our classroom and outdoor area.

Wednesday 18th October: Opening Morning 1 09:30am to 10:30am
Our Headteacher, Will McDonald, will take you on a very special tour of our wonderful school site. You will get to see our children learning, our impressive library and the current EYFS pupils.
Wednesday 1st November: Open Morning 2 09:30am to 10:30am

Thursday 16th November: Open Evening 5:00pm to 6:00pm
You are invited to attend our Open Evening. The entire school will be on display for you to walk around and see. We will have a short presentation, snacks and drinks in the hall. Our teaching team, Headteacher, Inclusion Manager and School Council will be there to answer any and all questions!
